i went on a book spree again today. it's my definitive sin. how decidedly hellish on my pockets =(
my most recent collectibles are:-
niccolo machiavelli's the prince
william hazlitt's the pleasure of hating
elfriede jelinek's the piano teacher
i am still ploughing through shakespeare's hamlet from my last spree. wot a master elongator. i hate book-hopping but today before leaving the house i'd decided i'd had enough of monologues and tragic diatribes for now (half of which really just whiz past me), so i picked up welsh's ecstasy instead.
that book is HEINOUS. it's just the kind of banal, british rubbish narrative i hate. porno the book paled quite abysmally to trainspotting the movie... but next to ecstasy it's really rather marvellous. wot a waste of 15 smacks (second-hand too wot was i thinking??).
so erm... irvine welsh anyone? one time offer 10 bux only! =P

by the time you read this, i am up and running again. if you were wondering... eheh. smazing wot a shot of PMS and an inattentive boyfriend can do, init? >(
but it's all right and sorted now. yes i'm trying something new again. it looks nice to me. certainly not as inconsistent as the layers i've been having. they were sagging to the bottom of the page periodically, and i've been told my bottom half weren't accessible at all for some browsers. i hope it's stabler now.
